Craving crab sotanghon? China Mommy opened a permanent stall at Robinsons Magnolia
What started as a passion project in 2016 has blossomed into a permanent culinary destination. China Mommy, the beloved brand known for its authentic, generation-spanning Chinese-Filipino recipes, has officially reopened a permanent store at the Public Eatery in Robinsons Magnolia.
For years, foodies have craved their comforting dishes through delivery and pop-ups. Now, fans can get their fix directly at Stall 18 inside the upscale food hall, alongside their existing branches in San Juan and Power Plant, Rockwell.
China Mommy’s journey began a decade ago when Linda and her children decided to share their family’s culinary heritage with the world. Launching with a tight, curated menu of just six dishes—including a heirloom lumpia recipe passed down from Linda’s own mother—the brand quickly gained recognition for its authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients.
Their mission has always been to preserve and share traditional Chinese recipes passed down through generations, beautifully blending the rich Chinese flavors Linda grew up with and giving them a distinct, comforting Filipino twist.
For those heading to the Public Eatery, China Mommy is bringing out some of its most comforting signature dishes. A definite must-try is their Special Century Egg Soup, a thick, comforting broth packed with century egg, sea cucumber, abalone, dried scallops, ham, veggies, and tau mung tsai (sea moss). This signature soup is priced at P2,400 for a full order (good for 6–8 pax) and P1,200 for a half order (good for 3–4 pax).
They are also serving up premium seafood noodle dishes that are perfect for sharing. The Lobster Sotanghon features two premium Maine lobsters totaling 1.5 kilos, cooked with their signature sotanghon for P5,800 per order. For those who prefer a bit of a kick, the Lobster XO Noodles offers 5 to 7 pieces of smaller market spiny lobsters totaling 1 kilo, wok-tossed in a rich signature XO sauce and classic canton noodles for P4,600 per order.
You can catch them at Stall 18, Public Eatery inside Robinsons Magnolia.
