You can score free international flights to ASEAN countries with AirAsia's subscription plan
Want to explore the wonders that our neighboring countries have to offer? Then you just got lucky as AirAsia is now offering customers a chance to travel for free within Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries for one year.
To enjoy the sweet deal, customers must avail the ASEAN Pass, which is an annual subscription that becomes valid for one year from the day of purchase.
The pass unlocks a variety of promos, such as zero-base fares on AirAsia flights to Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Brunei. You'll also be able to get up to 50% discount on the air carrier's hotel partners with no max cap.
Other benefits include a free airport ride from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2, 5,000 AirAsia points upon sign-up, and 50 Malaysian ringgits off pass when you pay with BigPay.
You can purchase the pass through AirAsia's MOVE app or its official website. After you've logged into your account, you must select the "UNLIMITED" or "ASEAN Pass" icon before filling in the necessary details and choosing your preferred payment method. Keep in mind that the account must be under your name for all flight redemptions.
A confirmation email will be sent to you upon a successful payment.
Once this is done, you can redeem your free flights by accessing the ASEAN Pass dashboard and clicking the "Go" button next to flights. Your promo code is auto-generated, so you can simply select "Redeem" to proceed to your flight search without having to copy and paste it.
In the flight search, select your departure location and your desired destination as well as your departure date and return date if applicable. When you click "Search," you can now choose AirAsia flights with "100% OFF" fares and complete your payment.
For the hotel discounts, you must remember the promo code on your hotel widget and click on the "Go" button next to Hotel. Fill in the information on the destination, travel dates, and number of rooms and guests.
Once you've selected your hotel, choose your room type and select "Pay Now and Continue." After you've applied your promo code, you can now proceed to pay for your hotel.
The travel period for the free international flights is from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. The pass is priced at P14,888.
