Test the products first

We’ve all been there—buying makeup or perfume online but only to find out that it doesn’t suit your skintone or the scent is too sweet. This trial-and-error process can hurt your wallet real good, but here’s good news: now you can finally avoid those unwanted purchases.

You can do so by trying out Lazada’s Try & Buy feature, which allows you to test out a makeup or skincare product by purchasing smaller-sized products at a lower price point. If you’ll be checking out during Lazada’s 9.9 sale, you can also get a voucher within the week to buy the full-sized product, if you’re satisfied with the product after trying it out.

For this year’s 9.9 sale, Huawei is accepting pre-orders for its 11-inch MatePad Pro with a discount of P100 and over P15,000 worth of freebies, including a Huawei Keyboard and M-Pencil.

Store like Beyond the Box is slashing off up to P 25,000 on Apple products, while Digital Walker will be giving away discounts and freebies, such as charging pads, earbuds case, and duffel bag, for select items.

Aside from product discounts and vouchers, you can maximize your online shopping spree by paying using a credit card or digital wallet that offers additional savings.

During Lazada’s 9.9 Mega Brands Sale, those who will use their BDO Mastercard to pay for their purchases of at least P3,500 will get additional P2,000 off their total bill. Meanwhile, customers who will pay via GCash will receive an additional discount of P150 for a minimum purchase of P999, and P200 off for those with a minimum purchase of P1,900 and will check out with their Maya account.

In addition to in-app discounts and vouchers, e-commerce platforms would usually take the fun to local TV screens through shows where they give away more deals and prizes.

For its sale this month, Lazada is airing its 9.9 Super Show, which will feature performances from celebrities and a chance for viewers to win up to P3 million worth of prizes and giveaways.
