LIST: More Philippine hotels added to Michelin Guide, bringing total to 25

Published May 13, 2026 12:37 pm

It is no secret that the hospitality scene in the Philippines is world-class. But we are not done outdoing ourselves, as the Michelin Guide has demonstrated by recently adding several other local hotels to its list.

Today, there are 25 hotels in the country that have made it to the prestigious selection

An establishment being included in the Michelin Guide signifies that it is worthy of long-haul travel, out-of-the-way road trips, and, possibly, one's travel budget for the year. Take a look at the newcomers in the list.

Anya Resort Tagaytay
Anya Resort Tagaytay is just an hour's drive from Manila.

The Michelin Guide describes this Tagaytay resort as a "weekend reset" that rewards weekend warriors with cooler-than-normal temperatures and 7.2 hectares of gardens. It has 82 suites all designed using principles that optimize indigenous materials and natural light.

You don't come to Anya Resort Tagaytay just to stay in the immaculate rooms. Its restaurant, Samira by Chef Chele Gonzalez, offers a six-course set menu, à la carte dishes, and hearty grilled pieces. Like its chef, Samira boasts a creative and contemporary culinary experience.

Anya puts a premium on wellness, too. Its Niyama Wellness Center has relaxing treatment rooms, each with its own bathing area and outdoor space. Massage therapies are available, too. Aside from the holistic spa experience, the center also offers movement retreats every so often.

Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay
The unobstructed view of the Sulu Sea is a great addition to Crimson Resort & Spa's repertoire.

With its sister hotel in Mactan already in the Michelin Guide, Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay adds another element of luxury to the list.

Nestled in Station Zero, the island's quieter stretch, Crimson knows how to give its guests the full tropical experience across its private 3,000 square meters of white sand with a front-seat view of the Sulu Sea.

It offers five different aptly named dining experiences: Saffron Café, Mosaic Latin American Grill, Azure Beach Club, Floating Breakfast, and a private Romantic Dinner.

As if the white sandy beach and the cuisine weren't enough, Crimson has several other offerings: art activities, a spa, foam party, swimming pools, a fitness center, and beach sport activities.

Manami Resort
Manami Resort in Negros Occidental is the ultimate example of Negrosanon hospitality.

The Michelin Guide describes Manami Resort as "far enough from the usual Philippine tourist trail to feel like a discovery."

It sits in the city of Sipalay on the southwest coast of Negros Occidental. The resort's strategic location allows it to stretch, unobstructed, across five hectares on a wooded hillside that faces the Sulu Sea.

Manami's 18 villas are built onto the terrain, following the land's natural shape. Guests have the option of staying in a room that faces either the forest or the ocean. Rooms have their own wide balconies, making sure every guest can enjoy their share of nature.

When lounging is done, the Linong Spa, named after the Hiligaynon word for calmness, sits at the highest point of the resort. For sustenance, there's the Negrense-Spanish Lingaw Restaurant, which is named after the Hiligaynon word for fun. According to the Michelin Guide, when guests venture beyond the villa, a dedicated nature butler follows to take care of all their needs.

Nawa Wellness
Traditional hilot is the secret behind Nawa Wellness' success.

The Michelin Guide sees through this destination's advocacy when it described it as, "Rooted in Hilot, the ancient Filipino healing tradition, this is a resort built around a philosophy rather than an amenity list."

Accommodations present a wide range of designs. There are heritage-style rooms sitting in a colonial Manila-era house, quaint Malay cabanas, and a luxurious presidential villa stretched across wide gardens.

The Panari Spa offers traditional Filipino hilot practices meant to rejuvenate tired souls. Complementing this is Dalisay Epicurean Wellness Dining with its wide-ranging menu selection, including paleo and plant-based dishes.
