Nongshim is releasing a brothless, fried noodle version of their famous ramen

By SAAB LARIOSA Published Jul 14, 2021 4:02 pm

South Korean food company Nongshim is set to release a fried noodle variant of their famous Shim Ramyun ramen in time for their 35th anniversary.

Taking inspiration from the Shin Ramyun's distinct spicy-tangy taste, the new broth-less fried curly noodles will come in both instant bag and cup forms.

Much like its ramen equivalent, it will come with Nongshim's special seasoning oil, vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, and bite-sized fish cakes with their signature 辛 emblem.

The broth-less Shin Ramyun follows in the footsteps of Nongshim's recent instant noodle hits such as Shin Ramyun Black and Shin Ramyun Non-Frying. It's set to launch in South Korea this July 30 with a worldwide rollout in August.
