No more long drives! A new airline route connects Ilocos Norte and Batanes, making travel between the provinces a breeze.

Sky Pasada, a regional airline, has recently launched flight services connecting Ilocos Norte and Batanes, providing convenient travel options in the North.

This 15-seater aircraft, known as the ‘jeepney of the sky’, was inaugurated on May 4, ensuring a seamless journey to a traveler’s dream Batanes adventure. It operates at Laoag International Airport every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The fleet comprises aircraft models such as the Let L-410 Turbolet UVP, the Cessna Grand Caravan EX, and the GippsAero GA8 Airvan.

The fare for a one-way trip is P7,724 per person.

Sky Pasada's Vice President for Operations and Accountable Manager, Mr. Benedictine V. Barraquias, expressed in a statement that they  "aim to provide our customers with a more efficient and enjoyable travel experience while supporting local economies."

According to Barraquias, the airline aims to establish new routes every year and plans to expand flights, including sea flights, from Ilocos Norte to its neighboring regions. The company’s sights are set on the Hundred Islands in Pangasinan and the Laoag-Calayan route within the upcoming year.

Aside from Batanes, Sky Pasada services to destinations like Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Maconacon, Palanan, Laoag, Baguio, Binalonan, and Calayan.
