Filipino celebrities made sure they didn’t miss the chance to greet their dads and husbands a very Happy Father. And to thank their Dada, Dad, Daddy, Tatay, Pops and Papa for all that they’ve done.
To celebrate the most hardworking, loving, and amazing men in their lives these stars honored them by posting some of the happiest and touching memories they had with the pillar of their lives.
1. Gabbi Garcia
Gabbi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her father by posting a travel photo from one of their trips. She also thanked her dad for making them smile every day with is dad jokes. Classic!

2. Saab Magalona
Saab is one of the daughters of the legendary Filipino rapper Francis Magalona. Saab posted a teaser video of herself rapping and singing one of her dad’s songs while wearing FrancisM’s clothes. The full video is posted here on her Youtube account.
In addition, she also posted an adorable compilation video of small moments of Jim Bacarro, her husband, with their children. “Best papa. Love you so much @jimbacarro Happy Father’s Day!”
3. Enrique Gil
Enrique described his father as the funniest, most selfless, and coolest clown along with a charming old photo of him with his dad. He shared how he’s very thankful that his dad is always ready to protect them no matter what.

Solenn or Wifezilla to Nico Bolzico expressed how she is in love with the way her husband loves their daughter, Thylane. She said that Nico is the best version of himself as a father.

Daniel kept his message to his father, Rommel Padilla, short but he made sure to accompany it with some of his most treasured moments with his dad. Daniel posted various videos and photos of their father and son adventures. Sweet!
6. Anne Curtis
In her post for her husband, Anne mentioned the funniest fact that after 9 long months, their daughter came out looking exactly like Erwan.

Anne also posted a photo of her super-dad meeting her daughter, Dahlia Amélie, for the very first time. She expressed how happy she was that finally, Dahlia met her granddad after a long year! “A year and a bit in the making but it finally happened. There’s a little bit of shyness but we’re getting there.”
7. John Lloyd Cruz
For the very first time, John Lloyd Cruz celebrated Father’s Day by posting a photo of himself with Elias, his son with actress Ellen Adarna.
Little Elias looks very comfortable and happy sitting on his dad’s shoulders, doesn’t he?
8. KC Concepcion
For her father’s day tribute to dad Gabby Concepcion, KC posted a precious video of her little self playing with her papa. In the caption, she stated that her father is her first love and her first heartbreak. She ended the message by telling him how much she loves her dad deeply.

9. Janella Salvador
Janella shared a memory with her boyfriend Markus Paterson, and mentioned how he always does everything and anything for their son Jude even if it means leaving them for a while. This is their first Father’s Day celebration and so she also thanked her boyfriend for being “the most amazing, hard-working, present and hands-on father” to their son.
“October 29, 2020: About a week after Jude was born, you had to fly back home to the Philippines alone and leave us for a month to shoot a film. We brought you to the airport and as soon as we arrived, I saw the extreme sadness in your eyes. I actually cried during the car ride home without you. It felt surreal, you having to leave your son right after he was born. But you did it for him. You always do.”
At the same time, the actress posted a photo of her father with the caption “My rock legend forever. My Papa.”
10. Catriona Gray
The Miss Universe 2018 posted a photo of her and her dad side-by-side. Catriona has always expressed how close she is to her father, and so this year she celebrated Dad’s Day in Australia with her parents.
In an article on Philstar.com, Queen Cat said that she was grateful to be with her father for he is already getting old and she’s scared that she might not be able to spend as much time with him.

Sarah compiled a bunch of photos with her husband, Richard Gutirrez, showing some of their happiest family memories. The actress heartwarmingly praised Richard for being an amazing and loving dad to their sons Zion and Kai.

Just last year, Yassi’s father, Ronnie Pressman, passed away and the actress openly shared her sadness and mourning for losing her number one motivation. This year, the star did not miss the chance to remember her loving father by reposting a sweet video compilation of her happiest days with her dada. Yassi said that she has so many memories with her father that make her cry because she loves him so much.

13. Kean Cipriano
The actor-singer dedicated an Instagram post and a short but heartfelt message to his deceased father, Edgie Cipriano, who died due to cardiac arrest in 2016. Kean posted a couple of photos of his favorite memories with his dad and a photo of him singing beside his father’s coffin during the wake.
Kean describes his dad as the coolest ever.
