Reebok drops Ghostbusters-themed sneakers ahead of Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner and if there’s something strange in your neighborhood, you have to know who to call. And just in case you don’t, Rebook is here to remind you.

Reebok has collaborated with iconic movie franchise Ghostbusters to produce two limited-edition sneakers in celebration of the 1984 spooky comedy hit starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis.

The result? A Ghostbusters x Reebok collection that will come in two styles – Ghost Smashers and the Classic Leather. Each will be featuring plenty of exciting references best enjoyed by fans of the movie franchise.

The Ghost Smashers takes inspiration from the Ghostbusters’ trademark hardware: the proton packs and Ecto-1. There’s a bright green tank on the back of the shoes, attached by a pair of gray arms, while blue, red, and green rubber hoses serve as conduits for "ectoplasm." For convenience, the canister, arms, and hoses can all be removed to make the shoes easier to wear.

For those looking for a subtle way to wear the fandom, the new Ghostbusters Classic Leather is here. It features a beige, black, and blaze yellow colorways resembling the jumpsuits worn by the Ghostbusters team in the film. Also included is the Reebok logo reimagined as a matching nametag, and the iconic “no ghosts” logo on the tongue.

You can find both shoes on Reebok’s website by Oct. 31, with the Ghost Smashers costing $150 (P7,283) and the Classic Leathers for $100 (P4,855).
