Ji Changwook to resume activities after recovering from COVID-19

Korean actor Ji Changwook has finally recovered from COVID-19.

According to Soompi, Changwook’s entertainment agency Glorious Entertainment confirmed the actor’s recovery on Wednesday, Aug. 11.

“Ji Changwook was judged to be fully recovered from COVID-19, and he has been discharged from the quarantine facility. He will return to filming "The Sound of Magic,” the entertainment agency said.

Changwook, who was filming for the upcoming K-drama The Sound of Magic, tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, July 26. After he tested positive, the series has temporarily paused filming. Meanwhile, his co-stars Choi Sungeun and Hwang Inyeop tested negative. 

The Sound of Magic is described as a “touching drama” that tells the story of Yun Ai (Choi Sungeun) who becomes an adult too quickly, and the mysterious magician Lee Eul (Ji Changwook) who wishes to be a child forever. 

Changwook has appeared in K-dramas Lovestruck in the City, The K2, and Suspicious Partner
