WATCH: Nadine Lustre gets sinister in first 'Greed' trailer

The first trailer for Nadine Lustre's comeback thriller film Greed has dropped, and it's shaping up to be her most intense role yet.

In the trailer, Lustre and Diego Loyzaga portray a couple who just won the lottery. They are torn between giving a bit of their winnings to their friend Dadong, portrayed by Epy Quizon, as the whole town might find out they have money.

Things take a dark turn after Dadong did learn about their winning ticket, which the couple seemingly lost. With their plans to leave town shot, things get uglier as the couple gets into a fight with a mystery man.

In a previous teaser, we've seen Lustre laughing maniacally, covered in blood. More of the intense scenes are shown in this new one-and-a-half-minute video, with the actress' character making chilling threats like, "Siguraduhing mo di ako makakawala dito."

Greed is Lustre's first movie with Vivafilms since she terminated her contract with Viva Artist Agency. After a legal dispute, the Quezon City Trial Court ruled that the actress should honor her contract.

The upcoming thriller directed by Yam Laranas will stream online on VivaMax on April 8.
