Paul Atreides is ready to wage war in the latest trailer of Dune: Part Two.
The hit 2021’s six-time Oscar-winning epic science fiction film follows the exploration of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he unites with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.
Helmed by Denis Villeneuve, the three-minute plus trailer features Atreides, who came to a new planet called “Arrakis,” only to watch the death of his father and the downfall of his empire on the hands of House Atreides’ sworn enemies, House Harkonmen. This house also took possession of Arrakis’s vital spice mines.
Later on, Paul has found new allies: the Fremen, the indigenous desert-dwellers that are more savvy and advanced than the rest of the Empire thinks, and they could have the power to throw House Harkonnen off Arrakis for good.
The time is right when he met these guys as he also had a challenge choosing between the love of his life, Chani, and the prophecy that he endeavors to prevent a terrible future of the known universe.
Dune: Part Two opens in local cinemas on November 1, 2023.
