Cinemas are reopening soon and these movies are set to hit your local theaters

With Metro Manila under Alert Level 3, cinemas are finally reopening their doors after a year of public closure. And in anticipation of the safe reopening of movie houses, the Cinema Exhibitor Association of the Philippines (CEAP) has been announcing which blockbusters are set to hit local theaters.

You can soon watch your favorite Marvel movies on the big screen as MCU movies that already premiered internationally — such as Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and much-anticipated upcoming blockbusters Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home — will premiere in cinemas.

However, titles may change without prior notice and the release will of course be dependent on the health situation and quarantine levels in the coming months.

CEAP has also teased the theatrical release of these flicks: No Time To Die, Kun Maupay Man It Panahon, The Matrix Resurrections, Disney's Encanto, Dune, Ghostbusters Afterlife, and more.

Several local cinemas are preparing to welcome people back by setting social distancing measures as moviegoers will be required to keep one seat between them vacant.

Other rules have also been put into place such as not allowing food (yup, no popcorn) to maintain health protocols.
