Cebu City’s Tracy Maureen Perez was crowned Miss World Philippines 2021 on Sunday, Oct. 3 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.
Candidate #36 beat out 44 other candidates during the coronation night, which was initially scheduled for July and was moved at least four times.
Perez is a software engineer and model. She's no stranger to the pageant scene, having finished top 12 in Miss World Philippines 2019.
The beauty queen also took home special awards, including Best in Swimsuit, Ms. Blue Water Day Spa, Ms. Artopian International, and Ms. Dermfix.
Perez will represent the Philippines in the 70th Miss World 2021 pageant to be held in December in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
