Taylor Swift channels four different musical eras in TikTok debut
Welcome to Tiktok, TSwift!
Taylor Swift has painted TikTok Red as the 11-time Grammy winner has officially joined the video platform app. Sticking to her cat-loving roots, she's dubbed the newly-minted profile "pretty much just a cat account" on her TikTok bio.
Her first video sees Swift changing into four of her former album styles in the span of 9 seconds. She first dons a white flowing dress and a beige filter to commemorate 2020's folklore, then wears the plaid blazer seen in 2021's evermore cover.
The artist then moves on to her rerecorded albums with a yellow sundress and classic curls reminiscent of Fearless (Taylor's Version), then to a classic red lipstick for the upcoming release of Red (Taylor's Version) on November 19, 2021.
Through her outfit and background changes, Swift lip-syncs to the song Screwface Capital by UK rapper, Dave. The song references the singer with the lyrics "Six-figure discussions, dinners in public / My linen all tailored / My outstanding payments swift like Taylor."
"Lots going on at the moment: Red (my version) vinyl is up for presale on my site and oh I’m on TikTok now let the games begin," the 31-year-old captioned.
"Not a lot going at the moment" has been the singer's subtle way of saying that she's busy working on a project. She first wore a shirt bearing the quote for the music video of 22.
