The world's favorite animation studio, with the help of HBO Max, has released a wholesome, looping bit of content to help you escape from all the stressful things being thrown at you.
Just as 2020 was coming to a close, Studio Ghibli unleashed what some might consider the ultimate in animé ASMR: six minutes of peaceful and reflective scenes from different Ghibli films, cobbled together and looped five times for the perfect 30 minutes of relaxation.
Fans can easily recognize scenes from Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, and the unmistakeable characters from My Neighbor Totoro dropping in, among many other works, as you float and pan from one moving visual to the next.
Open up a tab to hear the audio only, or treat the wonderfully animated visuals—from bubbling streams to grassy fields, serene mountain landscapes and a snoozing Totoro—like a beautiful screensaver that you can zone out to.
