This contest is open to amateur and professional songwriters who are at least 18 years old. Individuals and group collaborations of up to three are accepted.

To join, you can submit an original one-minute and 30-second demo of a verse and chorus only. Works that were previously published, recorded, or released are ineligible.

Lyrics can be in Filipino, or any Philippine dialect, entirely in English, and Taglish.

For words that don't have a general and accepted definition, contestants must explain the meaning and basis for including the word through a footnote.

Requirements include an accomplished entry form with complete personal data, lyrics of the verse and chorus, an MP3 file of the composition, a photo of the contestant representative, and a scanned copy of a valid ID.

You can send up to two entries until the deadline on June 30. Submissions must be made through joinnow.ph/BINIVerseandChorus.

BINI, consisting of members Mikha, Aiah, Maloi, Jhoanna, Colet, Sheena, Gwen, and Stacey, debuted in 2021 with Born to Win. They grew more popular in 2023 and 2024 as their songs Pantropiko, Salamin, Salamin, Karera, and more went viral online. This led to them being dubbed the nation's girl group.

The group is also known for hits Lagi, Cherry on Top, I Feel Good, Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi, and Blink Twice. They are set to release a new song titled Shagidi on June 5.

BINI also recently performed on Fox 5's Good Day New York.
