Celebs anxiously await US Presidential Election results
The United States wait with bated breath for the result of its Presidential election, which has already shattered records for having the highest voter turnout in more than a century.
After all polls have closed came the waiting game. The counting has carried over into the day after the elections with no clear winner yet as of this writing.
Even though Present Donald Trump tried to claim victory in his speech at the White House, following former Vice President Joe Biden’s short statement from Delaware, the counting is not over yet and people on social media used #CountEveryVote hashtag right after.
Leading to the much-awaited election, people across the political spectrum reportedly experienced/are experiencing Election Anxiety, as there are many factors at play including the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of the country’s economy, issues of race, and more.
Many celebrities, who used their platform to urge Americans to vote, also took to Twitter as they wait for the election results—many were restless and anxious, while others rally for their respective candidates, and some even throwing shade at their preferred candidate’s opponents.
This is like being awake during your own surgery.

It’s insane what *our* fears are if we lose, compared to their fears if Biden wins. like we will prob all die or be handmaids and they’re worried about bathroom safety

What Trump just did is the greatest case Democratic lawyers will have in every court room in America over the next few days. He just announced the election for himself before the votes have been counted. Sometimes the only thing that gives me hope is how bad he is at being bad.

This "speech" is just a random airing of grievances. Happy Festivus

If Biden wins, I’ll jump in the pool with my clothes on and post it. And with that, I’m back to my Connecticut adolescence.
