Bea Alonzo confirms reunion movie with John Lloyd Cruz • PhilSTAR Life

Bea Alonzo has announced that she will again team up with John Lloyd Cruz for a movie under Star Cinema.

The actress confirmed the news in a recently concluded media conference for her GMA show Start-Up PH.

Bea said that the same group who worked their brilliance in the love team’s hit 2007 film One More Chance will also be part of the project, which will be written by Carmi Raymundo, with concept by Enrico Santos. It will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

“It’s going to be very exciting,” she said, remaining tight-lipped about other details of the upcoming film.

Bea and John Lloyd made their much-awaited comeback and brought kilig to fans in 2021 with their commercial for a fast-food chain dubbed One True Pair. They also had a live script reading of That Thing Called Tadhana in 2020, with Bea as Mace and John Lloyd as Anthony.

The iconic onscreen pair’s last official project, A Second Chance, was released in 2015. It was also directed by Garcia-Molina.
