Nightmares Manila 5-in-1 haunted attraction with zombie paintball opens this May 27
Any horror fans looking for something new to do this weekend with the whole gang? Nightmares Manila, the newest haunted attraction in Metro Manila, is finally opening its doors to the public this Friday, May 27.
Nightmares Manila located in Paranaque City is a 5-in-1 haunted attraction with live actors, special effects, and movie-style animatronics.
The massive walk-through dark attraction is full of spooky live actors ready to give you jump scares as you walk through. There are two main Haunted Houses here, four themed Escape Rooms, Zombie Paintball, Photo Booths, a Souvenir Shop, and a spooky café.
The attraction is operated by the same team behind Asylum Manila, which first opened in Quezon City in 2019, featuring over 50 horror-themed rooms and passages.
The main attraction lets visitors walk through two horror houses, including one designed as a Japanese-themed haunted schoolhouse.
Ever wanted to experience what it would be like to be stuck in a zombie apocalypse? Channel your inner Daryl Dixon with Zombie Assualt, an interactive shooting gallery-style activity allows guests to “shoot” at live zombie actors, targets, and props.
Visitors can also test their sleuthing skills in several horror-themed Escape Rooms in this spooky attraction. Four Escape Rooms, which take inspiration from popular horror movies, each come with their own set of puzzles, mini-games, and scary effects. Escape Rooms include Escape the Serial Killer, The Heist, the Jigsaw-themed The Cell and Pharoah’s Curse.
The regular rate for Nightmares haunted attraction costs P699 on weekdays (Mon-Thurs) and P799 on weekends (Fri-Sun) and holidays.
While regular visitors are not allowed to take in phones and cameras, Nightmares Manila is also offering a special VIP/Vloggers pass, which allows visitors to skip lines and grants permission to take photos and videos inside for P1,499/head.
The Haunted Schoolhouse costs P399 everyday and P599 for vloggers. Zombie Assault costs P299 each while the Escape Rooms cost P300 on weekdays each (3-6 persons per room) and P500 each on weekends/holidays (3-4 persons per room).
After getting a scare, the Nightmares Cafe is also open to guests who want to grab a bite to eat.
Reservations are required for all visits to Nightmares Manila. Tickets are available to purchase online or on-site via ticket booth. COVID-19 guidelines, including the wearing of face masks, are still being implemented throughout the attraction.
Nightmares Manila also accepts group rates, party packages, team building, and company events.
For film students and serious horror fans, Nightmares Manila is also offering a "Behind the Scenes Tour" for P499 per person (minimum 5 persons). The guided tour with the lights on gives guests an idea how attractions at the horror house work, a chance to meet the live actors, and even have a monster makeup tutorial.
