If most people are still figuring out how they are going to save up for the hotly-anticipated PlayStation 5 following its reveal, the rich and famous have something else in mind: what type of luxurious coating they want on their next gen console.
A few months before its expected release, UK-based luxury company TrulyExquisite announced on its website that it will be offering the upcoming PlayStation 5 in three unique variants - 24K gold, platinum and 18K rose gold finishes.
Yes, you read that right.
The company's bespoke luxurious PS5 collection includes the unit, the headset and the DualSense controller all coated in 24K gold.
“We can not wait to start custom making these true beauties. Stay tuned and register your interest as we will have more information of pre orders and distribution soon,” the company said on its website.
Apart from the PlayStation 5, the company is also offering 24K gold plated smartphones, platinum iPads, 18K rose gold plated Apple watches as well as swarovski sneakers.
For reference, its gold-plated iPhone XS and XS Max have a price tag of £2,350 or P147,757. In 2014, Gatti released a PlayStation 4 made of 226 grams of 9-carat gold that is priced at $13,800.
Other information on the luxury next-gen console remains scant as of the moment.
