‘The Good Place’ actress Jameela Jamil joins the cast of ‘She-Hulk’ as big bad Titania

The upcoming She-Hulk series on Disney Plus just got its newest cast member: The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil.

Per Variety, Jamil joins the cast as Titania, one of the series’ villains with limitless strength and a frequent rival of the titular character. In the comics, Titania gets her powers from cellular augmentation through radiation. Aside from immense superhuman strength, she is highly resistant to physical injury and is bulletproof. The villain also has extensive experience in street fighting.

She-Hulk is part of Marvel’s Phase 4 TV shows, which will be centered around lawyer Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin. After getting into an accident, Jennifer gets a blood transfusion from Bruce, inheriting his superpowers. But unlike Bruce, when Jennifer hulks out, she retains most of her personality and brains.

The upcoming Disney Plus series stars Ginger Gonzaga, Hamilton star Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tatiana Maslany, Tim Roth, and Mark Ruffalo.
