Proof that gadgets can be kawaii too: Meet the Insta360 GO Ultra Hello Kitty camera
Action cameras usually look like they belong on a dirt bike or a surfboard—rugged and built for adventure. But if your vibe leans more toward café hopping, filming GRWMs, or simply collecting cute things, Insta360's latest release is a rare piece of tech that blends serious content creation with kawaii design. The brand has teamed up with Sanrio to give its flagship pocket camera a pastel Hello Kitty-inspired makeover.
Whether you're looking to elevate your TikTok videos or want a camera that matches your aesthetic, here's what you need to know about the Insta360 GO Ultra x Hello Kitty, including its features, price, and where to buy it in the Philippines.
Don't let the cute exterior fool you
The Hello Kitty edition is based on Insta360's latest flagship pocket camera, the GO Ultra, so you're getting the same hardware and performance as the standard black or white model.
Weighing just 53 grams (and about the size of your thumb) it packs a 1/1.28-inch image sensor and a 5nm AI processor capable of shooting 4K video at up to 60fps.
One of its most practical features is the magnetic mounting system. Snap the camera onto the included Magnet Pendant under your shirt, and you can record hands-free POV footage.
The Hello Kitty aesthetic
Where the standard GO Ultra leans toward a clean, minimalist design, the Hello Kitty edition embraces the kawaii aesthetic. The camera and Action Pod come in a two-tone pastel pink finish, with Hello Kitty details throughout—from the signature polka-dot bow replacing the standard shutter button to exclusive character artwork hidden beneath the 2.5-inch flip-up touchscreen.
The included Mini 2-in-1 Tripod also comes in pink and white, while the Quick Release Safety Cord doubles as a pink neck strap with a 3D bow-shaped adjustment buckle. The bundle also includes the Magnet Pendant, Magnetic Easy Clip, Quick Release Mount, and a USB-C charging cable.
Instead of a standard camera pouch, Insta360 includes a pink crossbody bag with a rope shoulder strap and embossed Hello Kitty details. The bundle also comes with a set of transparent Hello Kitty photocards that can be used to creatively frame photos and videos.
Exclusive digital extras
The Hello Kitty theme extends to the software, too. Pairing the camera with the Insta360 app unlocks an exclusive Hello Kitty connection animation that's not available on the standard model. Users also get access to exclusive Hello Kitty watermarks for adding a playful touch to photos and videos.
The Hello Kitty-themed accessories come at a premium. While the standard Insta360 GO Ultra starts at P24,490, the Insta360 GO Ultra x Hello Kitty edition is officially listed at $556.99 (roughly P34,000) on the official Insta360 website, though it is currently out of stock as of writing. You'll also want to keep an eye on Insta360's official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
If you can't wait for a restock, you can already score the limited-edition bundle through local authorized tech retailers like Altitude and Henry's Cameras for around P33,290.
