ZiGi just welcomed their first baby—here’s a look back at their on-and-off romance!
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid welcomed their first baby daughter last weekend, the hot couple announced earlier today on their Instagram accounts.
The Victoria’s Secret model couldn’t seem to contain her happiness after meeting her new bundle of joy. In a post showing a snap of her holding her little girl’s hand, she wrote, “She’s already changed our world. So in love.”
As for the former One Direction member, Zayn opened up feeling “grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together.” He added, “To try to put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding.”
Gigi and Zayn have yet to announce their baby girl's name. But that should be the least of their concerns now, having gone through a riskier kind of lockdown experience together and the on-and-off love story they've since shared.

In 2015, the two were spotted holding hands after an American Music Awards after-party Justin Bieber himself hosted.

Amid breakup rumors in the same year, Gigi posted a loved-up snap of her sharing a kiss with Zayn.
Gigi would celebrate her birthday with Zayn in 2017—the ship has indeed sailed farther!
But after a two-year relationship, the 'it' couple confirmed their breakup in 2018—a first that followed more.

ZiGi fans went crazy upon seeing Instagram photos of Gigi celebrating Eid Mubarak with Zayn’s family in July.
A second set of breakup rumors sparked in December 2018. Gigi was seen having a casual date with television personality Tyler Cameron.
Gigi and Zayn were finally back in each other’s arms in February 2020. They also spent a romantic night on Valentine’s Day, as seen on Gigi’s Instagram stories.
While in coronavirus-brought isolation, Gigi confirmed her pregnancy on Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last April. “We’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” she said. “It’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home together and really experience it day by day.”
In August 2020, Gigi shared a PDA-filled shot of her and Zayn on Instagram, where she called him “baby daddy.”
Later that month, Gigi posted some photos from her stunning maternity photoshoot on Instagram. In one of them, she wrote, “growin an angel :)"
