Ridiculous or reasonable: Apple is selling a polishing cloth to clean your devices for $19
Aside from the new MacBook Pro models and the third-generation AirPods, another product was quietly released by Apple: a polishing cloth worth $19 or almost P1,000.
Yup, Apple is selling a piece of cloth for almost P1,000. Its specs include the ability to clean any Apple device's display, even nano-texture glass safely and effectively.
Funnily enough, the iPhone maker even listed other products this piece of cloth is compatible with—it's basically all the products Apple has released in the past.
Under the company's support page, it recommended using "soft, lint-free cloth" to clean Macs, iPads, iPhone, iPods, and more. Thankfully, the $19 polishing cloth is made with a soft, non-abrasive material.
The polishing cloth isn't the only ridiculously priced product Apple has released in the past. In 2004, the company announced the iPod Socks, which was priced at $29 (1,470), and basically, its purpose was to serve as a protective case for iPods.
More recently, the tech giant introduced a monitor stand that cost $999 (priced around P57,990 in the Philippines).
