Looking for something new to watch this week? Two new movies are screening in movie theaters in the Philippines, namely Venom: Let there Be Carnage and Disney’s animated film, Encanto: A Magical World.
Meanwhile, streaming services continue to churn out loads of new content to watch.
A notable addition this week on Netflix is the 2021 Filipino revenge action thriller film Arisaka starring Maja Salvador and directed by Mikhail Red (Eerie, Dead Kids). Arisaka originally premiered at the 2021 Tokyo International Film Festival where its director was nominated for the Tokyo Grand Prix.
7 Days of Hell, the episode featuring Filipino "mangkukulam" directed by Erik Matti (On the Job) in the second season of the Asian horror Anthology Folklore on HBO also dropped earlier this week.

Venom: Let there Be Carnage

Folklore: 7 Days of Hell
