Here's what to expect at the Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival 2023
Got any plans this weekend? The Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival might be your best option if you're planning to spend it with the food, music, and art lovers in your life.
Situated in Quezon City, Maginhawa is holding the whole-day festival on Saturday, Dec. 2. Taking place on the street from Uncle John's to Bayantel between 9:00 a.m. and 12 midnight, the event will feature various food and non-food must-haves, performances by some of the hottest bands in the country, as well as fun games and challenges to complete the day. Admission is free.

Food crawl
Make sure to save a lot of room for food as over 100 food merchants will be open as soon as the festival starts.
Maginhawa has been featured in various blogs and vlogs by Filipino foodies through the years and it's a no-brainer why—this lively street has so much to offer—from unique restaurants and unassuming cafes to dining spots we've long known and loved.
Christmas shopping
This year, Maginhawa will be more than just a foodie's paradise. The organizers added the word "art" in the event's name as the festival will also feature over 100 non-food merchants that will be available for the entire day.

Musical performances
Any festival would not be complete without music. Some crowd-favorite OPM acts are set to join in the fun, including Dilaw, Over October, The Ridleys, and Ang Bandang Shirley. Several musicians from the UP Music Circle, such as Along The Alps, Hana Dulcet, and No Head, will also showcase their talent and serenade the attendees with various performances.
Fun games and competitions
The festival is also holding various competitions for festivalgoers. There will be a Drum and Lyre competition that will open to junior and senior high school students in the city as well as a talent match dubbed Q.C. Got Talent for its residents. Since Christmas is just around the corner, there will also be a Christmas Carol competition that will be open to residents, private and public institutions, as well as other recognized organizations.
The MAFF 2023 is organized by the Maginhawa Food Community Inc., Quezon City Government, and JCI Quezon City Capitol. The festival is co-presented by Councilor Irene Belmonte, Atty. Vincent Belmonte, Nickel Asia Corporation, and klikit.
It held its first edition in 2014 in celebration of Quezon City’s 75th anniversary, followed by another one titled Maginhawang Pasko in 2015.
