‘Vincenzo’ is on hiatus—here are K-dramas and films that feature the Geumga Plaza tenants

Vincenzo is winning over fans' hearts—and it’s not only because of Vincenzo Cassano's (Song Joong-ki) charming looks, but also because of the intense twists that keep us on the edge of our seats, not to mention, the funny and reliable tenants of Geumga Plaza.

In case you missed it, Vincenzo won’t be airing this week. According to the makers of the drama, episodes 17 and 18 won’t be aired as scheduled on April 17 and 18 as they will take a one-week hiatus “in order to improve the quality of the drama.”

But no need to worry! There’s still plenty of other shows and films that include the cast members of the show. Below, check out our list of K-dramas and films that you may catch them in.

Song Joong-ki in Space Sweepers (2021)

In the latest Netflix sci-fi film Space Sweepers, Song Joong-ki plays the role of Tae-ho, a retired soldier-turned-pilot of a spaceship, who risks his life to collect space debris. As he and his team chase after space junk, they discover a 7-year-old humanlike-robot that is wanted by the UTS Space Guard.

Jeon Yeo-been in Night in Paradise (2020)

Jeon Yeo-been plays a terminally ill woman named Jae-yeon in Netflix's Night in Paradise. This Korean thriller movie follows Tae-goo (Um Tae-goo), a hotshot of a criminal gang, who then takes revenge after his sister and nephew were killed in an accident, wherein he was supposed to be the target. As he runs away to Jeju Island, he cross paths with Jae-yeon. The two get tangled up in each other lives and start to feel pity for one another.

Yoon Byung-hee in Flower of Evil

In Flower of Evil, Yoon Byung-hee plays the character of Park Kyung Choo, whose wife died at the hands of a serial killer. Kyung Choon believes that Do Hyun Soo (Baek Hee Sung’s real identity) was an accomplice in the murder. To get him to admit the crime, her threatens Hyun Soo.

Yang Kyung Won in Crash Landing On You

If you’re watched Vincenzo closely, then you must have heard the CLOY reference in one of the scenes wherein Yang Kyung Won’s character Lee Cheol Wook was told he looked like a North Korean solider. True enough, the actor indeed played a member of Captain Ri Jyeong-hyeok’s Company 5 named Pyo Chi-su.

Lee Hang Na in Train

Lee Hang Na, or Kwak Hee Soo the owner of Yeongho Snack Bar in Vincenzo, starred as a police chief named Oh Min Sook in the sci-fi crime thriller drama, Train. It's about a detective (Yoon Shi Yoon) whose loved one (Kyung Soo Jin) is murdered by a serial killer. He discovers an abandoned train station is connected to a parallel world where she is still alive and works to protect her. There, Min Sook took care of Do-won and Seo-kyung in universe "A". She is also a police chief with hidden agenda in universe "B".

Kim Yoon He in 18 Again

Kim Yoon He appeared in the series 18 Again as Kwon Yoo-Mi, a staff of the JBC News Department. The series is based on the 2009 American film, 17 Again, which follows a jobless middle-aged father who regrets his life. Later on, his body changes into that of an 18-year-old year old, while his mind is still that of his 37-year-old self. He changes his name to Ko Woo-Young and begins to live a new life. 

Kim Hyung Mook in Miss Lee

Don’t know who this is? That’s because chef Toto shaved his mustache for the comedy drama, Miss Lee. Here, Kim Hyung Mook plays the role of Moon Hyeong-Seok. The drama is about an ordinary employee who gets promoted to become the CEO of the small company Chungil Electronics. Without any background or experience whatsoever, she takes the challenge to protect her colleagues from losing their jobs and save the company from going bankrupt.

Kim Seol Jin in Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me

Kim Seol Jin is a newbie actor and a South Korean contemporary dancer. He starred in the melodrama The Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me as Yang Seung-Goo. The drama is about a rich executive who would do anything to protect the love of his life, and later on meets a travel agent who may be linked to his past.
