The God of Mischief is back and ready for action in the brand new trailer for Marvel Studios' original series Loki slated to premiere on Disney Plus this June 11.

Marvel just released the official trailer for the upcoming Phase Four MCU series on Monday (April 5), giving fans a closer look at the mysterious organization tasked with protecting the flow of time and what our favorite trickster is up to.

Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character based on the Norse mythological deity, reprising his role from the Marvel film series. Other cast members include Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant

The upcoming series, which that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), features a time variant of Loki stepping out of his adoptive brother Thor's shadow.

After stealing the Tesseract, Loki lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority), a police organization that monitors the timeline and multiverse.

This variant of Loki created a new timeline in Endgame beginning in 2012, so he has not gone through the events of Thor: The Dark World (2013) or Thor: Ragnarok (2017) which "reformed" the previously villainous character before his death in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

The imperious god of mischief is recruited by the TVA to “fix reality” and help clean up several broken timelines he created in an exciting crime thriller that sees him traveling through different periods of time to alter history.

The trailer is just packed with exciting footage and it looks like this show is going to be a blast. Check out the glorious two-minute long trailer below.

The six-episode series is produced by Marvel Studios, with Michael Waldron serving as head writer, and Kate Herron directing for the first season.

Marvel Studio’s Loki premieres on Disney Plus on June 11, 2021. A second season is reportedly in development.

The current Marvel lineup for Disney Plus includes WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, What If…?, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, and I Am Groot—a series of original shorts.
