Huawei outs Watch Fit 4 series with data-rich features for running, golfing
Huawei has released a new line of wearables that can be a gym and running enthusiast's next functional yet stylish fitness buddy: the Watch Fit 4 series.
There are two devices in the line, the standard Huawei Watch Fit 4 and the more decked-out Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro.
Sport in style

Designed for comfort, the vanilla version of the device features a slim and compact frame at 9.5mm thin and 27g light. It features a 1.82-inch screen that can output 2,000 nits of brightness to let users read their messages, maps, and more even when doing activities outdoors.
As it's positioned as a stylish smartwatch, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 comes in chic colors of purple, white, black, and gray.
It allows for more personalization as it lets users create custom sticker watch faces with photos taken from their phone.
As for its features, the watch boasts a new barometer to provide stats that runners may find handy, like real-time data like accumulated ascent, cadence, distance, heart rate, calories burnt, real-time altitude, and route tracking. Users can also download maps offline and import routes.
More than 100 workout modes, including seven outdoor sports like mountain climbing and skiing, can be tracked with the watch.
Meanwhile, the wearable as a health device can monitor your pulse wave arrhythmia, stress, sleep, and more.
According to Huawei, the Watch Fit 4 can last up to 10 days.
More data on your wrist

The more rugged Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro offers additional sport modes, sport tracking, and monitoring.
It comes with a bigger 1.82-inch AMOLED display, which can output 3,000 nits of brightness. This durable health tracker has a water-resistance level of 5 ATM, which means it can withstand up to 50m of static water pressure for 10 minutes, and a dust-resistance rating of IP6X.
Another way it differs from the standard version is that it provides more detailed golf tracking. It can provide users with data for up to 15,000 courses so they can enjoy 3D fairway views and see green and bunker information.
For runners, they can get a form analysis with the Watch Fit 4 as it monitors data like ground contact time balance and vertical oscillation. It will even provide tips to help you improve your form.
On the health side, the smartwatch can run an ECG on top of other similar monitoring features in the Watch Fit 4.
The Huawei Watch Fit 4 starts at P6,499, while the Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro goes for P13,999. Shoppers can enjoy exclusive freebies with their purchase, including Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 (worth P1,599) and a 3-month Huawei Health+ subscription (worth P387).
