Got a terrifying but true horror story to tell? Now's the time to bring out the creeps as it can win you cash prizes.
On Feb. 4, GMA News and Public Affairs announced its call for entries for its first-ever Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) Gabi ng Lagim The Movie.
The film will be produced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of KMJS' annual Halloween special which features supernatural stories that took place in different parts of the Philippines.
Three hair-raising and unique stories will be selected as winners from the entries submitted from Feb. 2 to Feb. 29, 2024.
Each of the winning entries will be included in the film and rewarded with a cash prize of P20,000.
The contest is open to viewers of KMJS who are Filipino residents, 18 years old and above.
Here's how to join:
- Follow KMJS' official Facebook page and click the link to the microsite found on the promo mechanics posted on the page.
- Once you're on the microsite, read the complete mechanics and scroll down to the bottom of the page to type your entry.
- Click "Next" and provide your full name, home address, e-mail address, mobile number, and birth date.
According to the contest mechanics, senders may submit as many entries as they like but can only win once. The entries will be judged based on the story's accuracy (50%), potential to be adapted into a film (30%), and uniqueness (20%).
The deadline for submission of entries is on Feb. 29, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
