Oura Ring 4: The viral smart ring for health and fitness is now available in the Philippines
Ever wish your accessories could do more than just look pretty—say, give you insights on how your overall well-being is doing?
If so, you’re in for some good news, as the viral Oura Ring designed to track sleep and physical activity is now in the Philippines.
Its latest edition, the Oura Ring 4, helps users get up close and personal with their health. The device is built with a breakthrough sensing technology called “Smart Sensing,” which adapts to the unique structure and skin tone of your finger and your current activity.
This enables it to deliver the “most accurate, continuous data” on health.
Specifically, the red and infrared LEDs measure blood oxygen while you sleep. The green and infrared PPG sensors, meanwhile, alternate to measure heart rate 24/7, including its variability and respiration rate, during your downtime.
Additionally, it’s equipped with a digital temperature sensor that measures average body temperature variations, as well as an accelerometer that tracks movement and activity all day long.
Its design is also effortlessly chic. Fully made from titanium, the ring comes in six finishes: Black, Silver, Stealth, Brushed Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold. All Oura Ring 4 models are non-allergenic and are available in sizes 4 to 15, so you don’t have to worry about finding the perfect fit.
The battery life typically lasts for five to eight days and can charge between 20 and 80 minutes, depending on the starting level.
To get insights on your health, you will need to download the Oura app, which is available on Android and Apple devices, and set up an account.
You'll have to spend at least one night sleeping with your Oura Ring on to receive Sleep and Readiness Scores the following morning. However, Activity data and the Explore content will all be available immediately.
The Oura Ring 4 is available through select The Loop stores at UP Town Center, SM Makati, Mitsukoshi BGC, Ayala Center Cebu, and SM Davao. You can also get it at Oura's official online store in the country, starting at P24,490.
