The official Season 3 trailer for The Boys dropped on Tuesday (May 17) in all its bloody glory, and catches us up with what's been happening with The Seven, Butcher, and Hughie one year after the events of the Season 2 finale.
We have just over two weeks before The Boys Season 3 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on June 3. The official trailer updates us on the aftermath of Season 2's events, with Homelander (Antony Starr) barely hanging on by a thread and ready to snap; Butcher (Karl Urban) now works for the government and is being supervised by Hughie (Jack Quaid). which must be a real joy; and we are introduced to a brand new character, Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), who will no doubt play a pivotal role in the battle against unhinged super heroes.

Here is the offical Season 3 trailer synopsis: It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into The Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy.
