Amazon is working on a documentary on Melania Trump's life
Amazon announced that it is working on a documentary on the life of incoming United States first lady Melania Trump.
The Prime Video show, to be released in 2025, will have Melania as an executive producer and Brett Ratner, who's known for helming X-Men: The Last Stand and Rush Hour, as director.
While details are still sparse, the company said it was excited to share this "truly unique story."
"Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalized.
The upcoming project comes after Mrs. Trump released a self-titled memoir.
Her husband, president-elect Donald Trump, will assume office on Jan. 20.
She said in a previous interview with Fox News Digital that if she were to serve as first lady again, she would prioritize initiatives focusing on the well-being and development of children.
The project is Trump's latest connection to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who announced he would donate $1 million (P58.2 million) to his inauguration fund and to stream the event on Prime Video. The billionaire also made another $1 million in-kind donation to the incoming US president.
In 2017, Ratner was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, including actress Olivia Munn. His lawyer has denied the allegations.
Mrs. Trump, a former model, is the president-elect's third wife, whom he married in 2005. They share one son, Barron.
Trump was formerly married to Czech model Ivana Zelníčková and model Marla Maples.
