A new VR playground is opening in Makati this July

There's a new VR playground opening in Makati.

Those looking for activities to try after work or during the weekends can get their game on at Zero Latency VR, an immersive, free-roam virtual reality experience opening at Ayala Malls Circuit by the end of July.

Time to rally the barkada because this experience is built for groups. Six players step into a virtual arena where they move freely and play side by side, going through a 30-minute mission that combines the adrenaline of an arcade, the graphics of gaming, and the storytelling of a blockbuster film.

Third Culture Entertainment Founder and CEO Mikhail Schemm is excited about the potential of the gaming platform in the Philippines.

"The strong connection to entertainment, gaming, social experiences, and beloved IP is something we really want to build
on as we expand into new entertainment formats in the country," he said.

"We can’t wait to throw the doors open and let people experience free-roam VR for themselves. It’s unlike anything else in the country so far,” he added.

Ready to be immersed in a zombiefied world? Or maybe a horror-filled realm? Included in the lineup of games at the Makati branch are Outbreak, Outbreak 2: Mall Mayhem, Haunted, and Undead Arena.

Other popular gaming IPs will come to the platform soon, including Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine VR – Defenders of Avarax, Jumanji, and Cyberpunk 2077.

Zero Latency VR Makati will also be open for group bookings and corporate experiences for businesses and organizations across Metro Manila.

Zero Latency VR is the largest free-roam VR network in the world with 150+ cutting-edge venues across 30 countries.
