LIST: The 2024 Cinemalaya Film Festival winners
The Cinemalaya Film Festival put the spotlight on movies and names that stood out in its 2024 edition.
Tumandok won big at the awards ceremony held on Sunday, Aug. 11 with five awards, including Best Film. It was followed by Kono Basho with four wins.
Marian Rivera and Gabby Padilla shared the Best Actress award for their performances in Balota and Kono Basho, respectively, while Enzo Osorio won Best Actor for his role in The Hearing.

The latest edition of the Cinemalaya Film Festival ran from Aug. 2 to 11. Woth the theme Loob, Lalim, Lakas, meant to convey the values, ideas, and issues that Filipino artists strive to instill in the audience, the event featured 10 full-length movies as well as 10 short ones crafted by local artists.
