Electronic Arts (EA) Sports has released the gameplay video of the upcoming FIFA 22, where a new technology will power the game, coming this October.

The release boasts FIFA 22 as “football’s most realistic and immersive gameplay experience to life” through the “HyperMotion technology” that will make the game appear more realistic and immersive.

EA Sports explained, the technology “combines Advanced 11v11 Match Capture and proprietary machine learning technology to deliver the most realistic, fluid, and responsive football experience for next-gen consoles and Stadia, unlocking the raw emotion, passion, and physicality of the world’s game.”

The new system equipped FIFA 22 to have 22 professional football players playing at high intensity. It will include 17,000 players across over 700 teams in more than 90 stadiums and 30 leagues.

Among the updates, EA will revamp the goalkeeper system, new “Create a Club” experience in Career Mode, “reimagined gameplay” in Volta Football, and will introduce a FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes item set that will represent the stories of the players.

Paris Saint-Germain striker and France national football team player Kylian Mbappé is “proud”—as he wrote on Instagram—to join Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the few back-to-back cover stars of the game franchise, after his first in last year’s FIFA 21

FIFA 22 will be available starting Oct. 1 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC through Origin and Steam, and Google Stadia, while the FIFA 22 legacy edition will be available on Nintendo Switch.
