Blinks, there’s no need to blink twice for this! BLACKPINK is officially set to release the music video for “Ready For Love” this week.

Ahead of their comeback this August, the South Korean girl group announced that they will be dropping a full music video for their special track “Ready For Love” in collaboration with the hit mobile game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).

The new pop song was partially performed by BLACKPINK during PUBG Mobile's in-game concert "The Virtual" held last Saturday, July 22.

Now, BLACKPINK and PUBGM have officially shared via social media accounts their plans to release the song’s full version coupled with a new video this Friday, July 29.

On July 12, BLACKPINK announced that they will be performing in The Virtual on July 22 and 23 in North and South America, as well as on July 23-24, July 29-30, and July 30-31 for the rest of the world. This makes them the first K-pop group to hold an in-game concert.

According to a report by Soompi, the group’s agency YG Entertainment had shared that the concert will be a “unique new experience” given the realistic vibe exhibited through motion capture and three-dimensional features during the performance itself.

“In addition to the members’ three-dimensional avatars, the three-dimensional sounds and performances will come to life through the high-quality technology of the game production company PUBGM,” YG Entertainment said.

PUBG’s Battleground Mobile was also reported to feature special collaboration game items during the virtual act, like the costumes and voice packs of BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.

Prior to The Virtual, the girl group had already collaborated with the game as their songs from THE ALBUM were used for PUBGM’s background music last year.

BLACKPINK has topped music charts and is known for singles such as Boombayah, Whistle, How You Like That, and Ice Cream among others. The four-person girl group is in talks to return next month, almost two years after the release of THE ALBUM.
