Angelina Jolie shares why her and Brad Pitt's children have no plans of joining showbiz
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's six kids won't be following in the footsteps of their celebrity parents.
In an interview with entertainment portal E! News, the international star explained why their children are not planning to enter the entertainment industry like what she and Brad did.
"I think they're especially shy, very private people," she told the media outlet. "And they want to be private."
Angelina and Brad share six kids together: 23-year-old Maddox, 20-year-old Pax, 19-year-old Zahara, 18-year-old Shiloh, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
The two first connected on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2003. The actor was still married to Jennifer Aniston, whom he broke up with in 2005.
The pair welcomed their first child Shiloh in May 2006 and confirmed they were engaged later in April 2012. They tied the knot in August 2014 and two years later, Jolie filed for divorce.
The two fell apart in September 2016 when Angelina accused Brad of raping her during a plane trip from France to Los Angeles and claimed that he "physically and verbally" assaulted her and their kids.
Despite being ruled legally single in 2019, their legal battle did not stop there as Brad sued Angelina for allegedly selling her portion of their shared winery, Chateau Miraval, without consulting him.
So far, Shiloh and Vivienne have dropped "Pitt" from their surname.
