JuanFlix temporarily suspends operations due to 'unforeseen technical issues'
Heads up, JuanFlix users: The streaming platform is halting its operations for a while because of “unforeseen technical issues.”
The streaming platform under the Film Development Council of the Philippines announced the temporary pause in an official statement released on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
“This step allows us to address the challenges thoroughly and prepare a better, smoother experience for all our users,” it said.
JuanFlix assured users who have monthly or yearly subscriptions that available options will be offered to them by their team.
“We know this pause may be disappointing, but this is part of our commitment to improving JuanFlix for everyone,” it said.
“Thank you for your patience and continued support,” it added. “We can’t wait to welcome you back soon.”
This came just a few days after the launch of the JuanFlix Mobile App, which started to be available for download on Google Play and App Store last Sept. 27.
JuanFlix was introduced in 2020 as FDCP Channel. Two years later, it was relaunched as JuanFlix: The FDCP Channel, offering a curated selection of classic and contemporary Pinoy movies as well as international titles.
