Gmail, Google Chat and others suffer brief outage

Update: Google has updated its status page, noting that all of the affected products have returned to normal.

Original story: Some Google users are currently having trouble accessing their accounts due to an apparent service outage today. 

According to Google's App Status Dashboard, some of the affected services are Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Groups, Google Chat and Google Meet.

Last month, Google suffered an outage that disrupted some of its services including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Meet and Google Chat. Thousands of users across the globe reported that they were unable to log in to their Gmail accounts and access attachments on Google Drive amid the service interruption.
