Nintendo and Swiss luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer recently teamed up to release a limited edition Mario-themed smart watch.

The two companies did not pull back on creative ideas that would make the watch attractive for collectors and fans.

According to Tag Heuer’s press release, the watch will feature a 45mm watch face, a built-in heart rate monitor, a compass, accelerometer, water-resistance up to 5ATM, and two red rubber straps with one option having a leather strap on top of the rubber.

It also features a star, mushroom, and pipe design on the bezel of the watch, with the iconic Mario M on the clasp.

The watch will use Google’s Wear OS which lets the user access functions on similar tech that also has the operating system such as Google Assistant.

According to the website, you will also be able to unlock new animations as you “reach your step goals with surprise twists.”

The Mario-themed watch costs $2,150 (P107,900) and will be available starting July 15, with only 2,000 units available at select Tag Heuer boutiques and at their website.
