'Home Along Da Riles' teases comeback film
Could the Cosme family be returning to our screens?
Home Along Da Riles' social media platforms, Home Along Da Reels, on Dec. 28 posted a teaser showing the iconic house of Cosmes and their family pictures through the years.
Azon (played by Nova Villa) is then shown holding a letter, her expression heavy with nostalgia as she looks back at the family home.
In the end, a text that read "Home Along Da Riles Da Reunion. A film by Boy 2 Quizon" appeared.
The classic sitcom Home Along Da Riles (1992–2003) centered on the Cosme family's life by the tracks. It starred Kevin Cosme (Dolphy) as the dedicated father and provider, balancing work with the antics and struggles of his five sons—Bill (Smokey Manaloto), Bing (Claudine Barretto), Bob (Gio Alvarez), Estong (Boy 2 Quizon), and Baldo (Vandolph Quizon).
Its success also led to two big-screen adaptations: Home Along Da Riles da Movie in 1993 and its sequel, Home Along Da Riles 2, in 1997.
