In the past, he shared snaps of the script and of table reads with Lustre and Loyzaga as well as photos of the set. While there aren't a lot of details about Greed yet, it looks like it will be a horror or thriller film—which Laranas is known for—based on the director's posts.

Greed will be Lustre's first movie since she "terminated" her contract with Viva Artists Agency (VAA) after 11 years under its management in 2020.

Lustre's legal counsel Lorna Kapunan said the actress' experience with VAA was "oppressive" and "illegal."

The actress was sued by the company for allegedly breaching her contract, which states that she would be with the company until June 2029. The Quezon City Regional Trial Court ruled last June that Lustre should honor her contract with VAA.

Last week, the singer/actress said she was willing to settle her legal disputes with the agency.
