Summer is the perfect time for thrill-seekers to stay outdoors, but sometimes, the scorching heat can spoil the fun.

If you don’t like spending your off days under the sun (or it's pouring rain outside), or you simply don’t have the time and energy to prep for a beach or pool outing, well, here’s some good news: there are plenty of indoor activities to do and they're all just within Metro Manila.

Below, we have compiled a list of indoor activities you can try with your best pals, perfectly fulfilling the summer fun.

Want to try out golf but don’t want to play under the sun? Try practicing at Tiendesitas’ Pat’s Putts. Not only do you get to enjoy golf with an added twist of obstacle series, but you also get to stay inside the glow-in-the-dark mini golf course.

Rates range from P399 for people under 4 ft. to P599 for adults, which gives you access to a 27-hole course, two-hour equipment rental (putter and ball), and all-day access to the restaurant and game room.

They also offer package rates for large groups of visitors. For groups of 10, they are entitled to have one free guest (9+1), group of 20 is entitled to three free guests (17+3), and a group of 30 with six free guests (24+6).

Additionally, they also offer rates for private events. For P19,990, you can have a party for up to 150 guests good for three hours, or P39,990 for 300 guests, also good for three hours.

Pat’s Putts is located at Level 2, Building B, Tiendesitas, Ortigas.

Roller skating

Roller skating has seen a resurgence during the pandemic, and it's continues to be a popular activity for many.

Roller Disco not only offers a space to skate, but it also takes you back to the 80s, giving off retro vibes with its neon lights, similar to one of the scenes from Stranger Things.

You can try this activity for only P130 good for 30 minutes, P200 for an hour's stay, or you can opt to skate for as long as you want for P350. If you have your own skates and protective gear, don’t forget to bring them to avail the discounted rate.
