Top-grossing film 'Bullet Train' arrives in PH cinemas on Aug. 10

If you still haven't gotten over The Gray Man and you're craving for more action-packed flicks to watch, then look no further with Bullet Train, an action comedly film about an assassin that will premiere in theaters in the Philippines tomorrow, Aug. 10.

Did we mention that it's also a top-grossing film in the global box office?

Bullet Train managed to earn $62.5 million in its opening weekend, from Aug. 3 to 7, earning it the top spot in the box office in the US and international markets. 

The United Kingdom led the market with a five-day total of $3.5 million. It was followed by France with $3.1 million, Mexico with $3.0 million, and Australia with $2.2M.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia debuted with $1.9 million, UAE with $1.3 million, Germany with $1.5 million, and Spain with $1.4 million.

Bullet Train stars action film veteran Brad Pitt in the lead role, along with Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, and Sandra Bullock.

Pitt plays Ladybug, a hardened but unlucky assassin who wishes to do a job conflict-free after experiencing too many assignments that have ended quite badly.

However, his next task may not be the peaceful mission he is looking for as he is put on the world's fastest train together with other with lethal assassins from all around the globe—all with connected, yet conflicting objectives.
