Your weekend watchlist: New documentaries, cool classics and more on Netflix

If one of your goals this year was to watch more educational shows and learn something new, you’re in luck.

Netflix has dropped a lot of relevant content, including the Nicolas Cage-hosted docusueries that delves deep into the history of expletives and cursing (something we find ourselves doing a lot to cope with stress).

Other shows that may help you pick up good habits includes an animated series on mindful meditation, and a cooking reality show that champions how to creatively make use of leftovers for brand new meals.

Here are just a few of the newest films and series offerings on Netflix to watch this weekend.

History of Swear Words

Synopsis: Nicolas Cage hosts this profoundly profane, funny and engagingly educational series about the history and impact of the most notorious English swear words.

The Grinch (2018)

Synopsis: The Grinch grows increasingly annoyed with the ever-growing festive cheer that engulfs the village of Whoville. So, he teams up with his dog to ruin the festive spirit by being a spoilsport.
