Move aside Avengers! A new set of fabulous heroes are ready to save the world with their prowess. Get ready to meet a band of queer heroes with Netflix’s brand new adult animation, Q-Force.

The teaser trailer immediately shows the irreverent, goofy, and action-packed tone of the queer-centric series.

Q-Force revolves around a group of misfit queer folks who have banded together to become super spies. The ragtag group is led by Steve Maryweather aka Agent Mary, who was once American Intelligence Agency’s (AIA) so-called Golden Boy until he came out of the closet. After coming out as gay, Steve was assigned to the Agency’s West Hollywood branch which he doesn’t agree with, thus, Steve forms his own team.

After waiting for almost a decade for Q-Force’s official mission, Agent Mary gets frustrated and in the end, he goes rogue with the team. In order to prove themselves, Q-Force finds their own case and, solving it on their own, they reluctantly get an approval from the AIA and are officially upgraded to Active Secret Agents.

Included in Q-Force’s roster is the mechanics specialist Deb, Twink the disguise expert, and Stat the tech expert. Surprisingly, the new member in the all-queer squad as required by the AIA to supervise Maryweather and the gang is Agent Buck, a straight dude.

The new Netflix series features the voices of Sean Hayes, Wanda Sykes, Gary Cole, Patti Harrison, Matt Rogers, David Harbour, and Laurie Metcaff.

Q-Force’s first season will drop on Netflix on September 2 this year.
