K-pop icon Sandara Park surely hasn’t forgotten her connection to the Philippines.

In a tweet on Saturday, December 12, Sandara delighted her Filipinos fans by sharing that she is "super happy" after finding a restaurant that serves Filipino food in Seoul, South Korea, where she is currently based.

What did Sandara eat for dinner that day? Sisig, kang kong, and garlic rice.

The tweet now has over 160,000 likes.

Sandara, or Dara, was part of the defunct Korean girl group 2NE1, but she is also known in the Philippines as the actress who shot to fame via the 2004 ABS-CBN reality show Star Circle Quest.

She left the Philippines to return to South Korea in 2007, although it’s clear she is still proud of showing off her Filipino “roots.”

Earlier this year, a clip of Sandara speaking Filipino on a South Korean TV program became viral on Twitter.
