Netflix has once again delighted fans of the quirky rom-com series XO, Kitty as it officially announced its renewal for a third season.

On its social media pages, the streaming giant announced the third installment of the spin-off drama to the To All the Boys film series, starring Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey.

In the video announcement, Cathcart can be seen receiving a "Valentine's gift" with a letter that reads: "Roses are red, violets are blue. There's a third season of XO, Kitty, in store for you."

Alongside the gift, it seems to be like the script of the upcoming season 3.

"It's official. Season 3 of XO, Kitty is in the works," the 21-year-old Canadian actress said.

Cathcart will likely reprise her role as Kitty. However, further details, such as other cast members who will reprise their roles and the release date for the show's third season, have yet to be announced.

The spin-off follows the titular character, Kitty, as she embarks on her own romantic endeavor when she flies to South Korea to pursue her studies. There, she meets her boyfriend Dae, played by Korean actor Minyeong Choi, with whom she has been in a three-year long-distance relationship.

Season 2 also features Kitty's life beyond academic achievement and discovering new cultures. It caters to her experience of the ultimate blend of high school drama, romantic entanglements, and personal growth. As Kitty has already discovered, relationships aren't as simple as the love letters she penned in her earlier years, and navigating new crushes, heartaches, and friendships continues to be an emotional rollercoaster.

The second season has also left audiences with cliffhangers that hinted at Kitty's growth as an individual, the complicated dynamics in her blossoming romance with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee), and her continued quest for belonging at KISS.

The second also showcased Gia Kim (Yuri), Anthony Keyvan (Q), and Peter Thurnwald (Alex), among others.
