Margie Didal, Ayn Bernos, Marvin Agustin among TikTok Philippines' top 100
Olympic skateboarder Margielyn Didal, Miss Universe Philippines San Juan Ayn Bernos, celebrity chef Marvin Agustin, and actress AJ Raval are among the TikTok Philippines' Top 100 for 2021.
On Thursday, Dec. 30, TikTok Philippines released #2021Rewind, their annual list of top content creators of the year.
"While the world went through a whirlwind of change this year, one thing hasn't changed: the heart of the TikTok community," it wrote on Instagram.
"Today we celebrate the community that brought joy across the Philippines in 2021," it added.
Hanemiya, Shuvee Etrata, and KIELVJ topped the rising creators category for having the highest number of followers gained in a year.
Actor and chef Marvin Agustin, who recently received flak over the quality of the cochinillo he is selling, topped the Top 10 TikTok Food Creators list. Ninong Ry and Chef Hazel also made it to the said list.
Young actress Andrea Brillantes, Vice Ganda, and AJ Raval are among the top celebrity content creators, while athlete Eric Eruption Tai and Margie Didal were included in the Sports Creators list.
Dancer Niana Guerrero joins Spencer Serafica and LITE in the TikTok Stars category.
Meanwhile, livestreamers Kiel Rodriguez, EsonCap, Jiro Morata are in the Top 10 TikTok Livestreamers list.
As for the top news publishers, five of GMA 7's accounts—GMA Public Affairs; Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho; 24 Oras; UnangHirit; and GMA News—made it to the top 10 list.
And finally, the top hashtag challenge is #SquidGame, followed by #SeeUsStronger and #taylorswift. PAJAMA PARTY, Tutu, and Booty Wurk are the top music used in the social media app.
